How to Order and Pay Online?
- Click “Product Catalog”
- Click on the desired khukuri category you want to have a glance at
- Click “Buy” button to order or click “More” to get detailed information about the product and click “Buy Now”.
- Click “Checkout” if you are done with shopping, click “Update Cart” to update any changes made in the cart or click “Shop More” to buy more
- Fill in the “Billing and Shipping Address” with your information and click “Continue”
- Review your order information carefully (For any correction needed for “Billing and Shipping Address” click “Edit Add” and for “Changes“ in the cart, click “Edit Cart”
- If all is well, Click “Checkout with Paypal” button under the Payment Mode or click “Paypal Verified” image to pay by Paypal if you have its account {login > click Send Money tab > to sales@thekhukurihouse.com > amount (Grand Total displayed in “Review Your order page”) > Click Continue}
- If you have a Paypal account, simply log in to your Paypal account, carefully review the “Review your payment” page and click “Pay now” button. If you don't or you want to use your credit or debit card then click “Continue”
- Fill in your paying Credit or Debit card's details and click “Review Order and Continue” button to pay for the order
- If your online transaction is a success then “Return to Merchant” link will appear, click it to return to the KHHI's site.

How to Calculate the Shipping Cost?
- Click “Shipping Calculator” link in the vertical menu bar of the home page and follow the instructions provided in the opening page

Insert internationally recognized tracking number provided by KHHI's shipper in the “Tracking” box and select the courier used for your order from the drop-down list

Click “Track” button (the new opening window will give you the current status of your order)
"Note: As thousands of shipping (mailing) occurs through different countries in a day there is a good chance that your Tracking No. may collide with other shipment/s with the exact same figure. In a case like this, it is recommended to distinguish your shipment from the rest by checking the origin of the shipment which is Kathmandu , Nepal .

How long is the Delivery Process?
The delivery time entirely depends on the type and availability of the product that is ordered.
The standard time frame is; for khukuris “In Stock” would be delivered within 10-12-15 days and “Out of stock” within 20-25-30 days.
Having said that because of excessive orders and since all KHHI’s knives are skillfully handmade investing time the delivery time frame
has been temporarily extended to 25-30 days until KHHI recovers from it. Nonetheless, we assure you that our processing, forwarding and
delivery activities would be as early as possible unless our activities are badly disrupted by some unavoidable circumstances.
KHHI's shipper (Quickway Cargo/Atlanta Traders) will email you the Tracking details once the order is forwarded to them by KHHI.
KHHI uses DHL, TNT, FedEx and USPS for its mailing services

What about Custom Rules and Formalities?
We declare all kukri/s as "Souvenirs from Nepal ” or “Traditional Handicrafts from Nepal ” under internationally recognized GSP code provided to KHHI by the Nepalese Govt. We also make all the required documentations and favorable billings so that clearance and collection can be swiftly done at the customer's end. However if the importing laws of a country requires permit and others (as every country has their own laws and we have to get abide by it) then our shipper in the destination country will notify the buyer to fulfilling the legal steps needed to clear the order from the customs. After releasing it will be delivered at the home/office location of the buyer (the final destination) by the shipper.

Can I ship to APO or POB Addresses? |
Delivering to “Military (APO) Address” overseas is possible. KHHI uses EMS Nepal to get this done as it works better with APO addresses. However having said that, the only problem with the APO address is that once KHHI's shipper delivers it to the concerned place then the status afterwards of the order is unknown to KHHI. Military mailing depart handles it in its own way so KHHI cannot be very sure on it whereabouts. KHHI would therefore recommend a “Standard US Address” in which each and every move of the order can be traced. Nonetheless if you insist on APO address then KHHI has no problem at all. KHHI has done it in many occasions and all have been successfully delivered. |
