Mukti = Redemption (be FREE set FREE)

This was my first time purchasing a blade from the Khukuri House and I enjoyed the entire process. From the picture of my knife prior to it being shipped, to all of the emails providing information on my package, to the actual reception of this impressive blade. I am quite pleased with the craftsmanship of this piece. I own another Mukti knife I purchased from Everest Forge....the Khukuri House Mukti is easily the better knife. My next purchase will be the Donnie B All Day Big Jim. Great Job Khukuri House and Thank you!!!

I wold like to take a moment to tell you how very happy I am with the blades I have purchased from your company. From the moment I opened the boxes I have been absolutely thrilled with the first-class quality and design of these blades. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the service I have received. 

My latest purchase was the Mukti. This exceptional blade now has a place in my most prized possessions. I am interested in ordering another like it, but I was wondering if I could ask for a few modifications to the design. I am greatly pleased with the size of this blade and will find it quite useful. For my purposes though I wonder if I could order one with the following changes. 

First, I notice that from the spine of the blade to the middle of the blade it is slightly concave. Steel has been removed here. As it reaches an apex at the center it is again dished out a bit and another concave area is found leading to the blade edge. I assume this is done in order to save weight. It is a fine idea and design. For my purposes I wold prefer the area from the spine to the center of the blade to be flat, not concave. This would add weight to the blade. This added weight is something I would prefer. 

Secondly, on my Bowie knife I have a large piece of steel affixed to the pommel. I would very much like to see a similar pommel on the Mukti. These changes would make the Mukti a more effective chopper. The added weight would be quite welcome for me. I am fine with the concave area from the middle of the blade to the knife edge, but would eliminate the concave area from the spine to the middle of the blade. Further, unlike the Bowie knife the Mukti has a sharp 90 degree angle at the spine, This sharp angle would lend itself quite well to striking a ferro rod for fire starting purposes. I would like to see this sharp edge at the spine preserved.
