“SiruPate” is actually a name derived from a very slender leaf called “Siru” found in the hilly regions of Nepal. “Siru” is the leaf’s name and “Pate” means the leaf. Since the SiruPate khukuri’s shape is forged in the shape of the Siru leaf, it is called  SiruPate. The blade is much slimmer than regular ones crafted for easy handing and mobility. SiruPates are the most famous of all khukuris in Nepal. “The SiruPates” is a set of collection of SiruPate khukuri in various versions, from traditional to contemporary.
