6 inch Jungle PLUS (Heavy-Duty) Kukri Knife

KHHI is always working relentlessly to bolstering its collection of mini versions and this is one of the fine additions to its small sized khukri knives that wud simply meet the standard and desire of many users. As per its name, “6 inch Jungle PLUS” is the advanced (modern) version of the traditional 6” Jungle (Sweet) that has been solidly crafted for heavy duty works by keeping the same required features in mind as a hardcore working knife. The blade is thick forged with a semi-fuller (for more strength and durability), with mirror polished finishing (to prevent rusting), fixed by a “Panawal” version handle system (Full flat tang with rivets for strength, stamina and status), having a vertical guard between the blade and handle (to always safe guard the holding hand within the handle’s portion) and with a Brown leather sheath (for smart look and strong fitting).

Here special attention is made on two things;

1) Butt Cap is rounded in upper portion so that it won’t dig (stab) in palm
2) Highly mirror polished is done (obviously we have retained the hardness) to completely prevent the blade from rusting.

6” Jungle PLUS mainly works (or is a must) for those who prefer an all rounder small size kukri knife (since it’s easier to carry and to work with) that is intended for all types of works - be it, REGULAR usage or HEAVY-DUTY works, NO PROBLEM at all.

Hi Usha,

Thanks for your mail,

After a little problem with the customs office. The two Blades finally arrived on Wednesday. I am more than happy with the craftsmanship and work done. I have already shown the Kukri's to friends,

I will be making a wildlife photographic weekend next week to the Mangrove forest and will put the 12' beast to work.

I do already have a 6' Jungle that I bought a few months ago. its a great work blade. I use it a lot.

The second 6' jungle that just arrived and is a gift, its final destination will be Alaska.

I shall take a couple of shot of the blades in the Mangrove forest and forward to you and will post on your FB page.

Please make sure that my sincere thanks go to Mr Rakhu Dev Bishwakarma for his fantastic workmanship.

exactly what I was expecting

Mr Saroj,

Hello and I hope this email finds you in good health.

I am writing to let you know that today, April 27, 2016, I have received the two knives I ordered from Khukuri House Handicraft Industry
1. 6" Jungle PLUS (Heavy Duty)
2. Jungle EXTRA (Woodlander)

I am completely satisfied with the construction quality of the two knives and the scabbards. I consider the scabbards works of art, they are exquisite. The knives and scabbards are exactly what I was expecting.
I am also especially pleased with the packaging for shipping.  It was clear by the condition of the box that the parcel was banged around during shipping. However, due to the high level of care taken during packaging they arrived without incident or damage.

My concern with the shipping is this; In this part of Canada (British Columbia), DHL passes the shipping responsibility to Loomis Courier Service and they don't deliver to where I live. Their information says they do (so does virtually every other courier and delivery service around here) but NO ONE except United Parcel Service delivers to where I live. Initially I was told I had to drive to Kelowna, 70 Kms away, in order to pick up my parcel. I insisted they bring the parcel to me and they brought it to the Loomis Courier depot in Vernon, 20 Kms away. Otherwise I had no issues with the shipping.

In the future, when I order something else, is there a shipping option to have DHL pass the shipping responsibility to United Parcel Service once the parcel is in Canada? By the way, United Parcel Service uses the same initials (UPS) as the United States Parcel Service (they use UPS or USPS) so it is easy to get confused.

Thank you for your time.
