Rambo 4 machete; bettered, remade & relived by dbad

When John Rambo bunkered down in the jungle, the jungle bunkered down on him. In the fourth Rambo movie, we see our hero forge a blade. They kept it simple as to show an emergency single purpose tool of battle. The problem is that it was too simple. I wanted to redesign that famous blade and make it everything it should’ve been. A nasty hacker that is fit to the hand and built ready for war.

What’s so special about the blade?
A quarter inch of 5160 hand forged steel was needed for the power to be menacing. My unique grind puts the blade weight near the hand offering a hefty swing thats fast at the tip. A true full tang, heat treated to perfection masterpiece.

Why use micarta scales?
A blade this monstrous was begging for a proper grip. The natural tact of micarta scales offers a great feel in all conditions. As a true jungle blade of battle, the conditions can change in a matter of steps. Steel pins and guard are added for extra strength and hand security.

Western Leather sheath:
This is another strong aspect of the Rambo machete. A thick high quality leather is used to make the sheath which strongly holds the knife in place. It is also very easy to operate (draw in draw out). It has a large opening in spine which is secured by 2 x leather straps which assists in very easy handling. The strap button in handle also makes sure everything is fit and fine. The use of this Western Leather Sheath completes the making which not only suits the knife but supports the knife perfectly. 

Dear Donnie,
We are extremely happy and super excited to have this machete in our product catalog; not just because it falls under our unusual product selection but it came from a knife designer who really knows what he is doing, and dedicated to the iconic character, the RAMBO, which we all love so much. When I first saw the knife’s template from our dear brother, Donny DBAD, I knew I had to have it immediately. That was my instant reaction. I truly found this knife very appealing, functional, and honestly speaking something that we lacked to offer to our valued customers. Hence there was no looking back. I personally thank Mr. Donny for yet another great knife and the opportunity to carry such an iconic machete knife associated to the legendary movie. The machete absolutely gives so much depth to our collection.
