"Just got my hands on the DBAD Wild West Bowie and it is an absolute beast. Unlike the mass-produced 1090 carbon versions out there, this KHHI-forged 5160 steel feels like it could chop through a brick wall and still hold an edge. The 8mm thickness (nearly 1/3 inch!) gives it incredible momentum for chopping, but the balance is surprisingly good for a blade this size. The Micarta scales provide a rock-solid grip even when wet. If you want a 'one-and-done' survival Bowie that actually lives up to the 'Wild West' legend, this is it. Donnie and the KHHI smiths really knocked it out of the park."
