Our kydex sheets and its supporting materials are all imported from USA. The normal thickness is 0.06-0.09” depending on the size of the kukri for which the sheath is being made. Its made in heating, molding and binding process and made for each knife individually. The best part of kydex sheath is it holds the blade very well in a locking style. Its complete water-proof and compatibility to various wears and gears features add value, usage and performance of the blade it is housing. Kydex sheath is very strong, safe and very easy to operate.
Kydex is a line of thermoplastic acrylic-polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material. It combines properties of both acrylic and PVC therefore it obtains rigidity, formability, toughness, chemical resistance, good interior and is completely water resistant. It is a perfect replacement of leather sheaths as it is lighter, cheaper, durable, holds better and also compatible to various armies’ wears and kits. It is scratch resistant and holds its shape better at the same time.
The belt holder (loop) placed at the back of the sheath gives option for Horizontal and Vertical carry. This carrying positions can also be adjusted (Knot-bolt system) as required and as comfortably as possible from High to Low positions from the waist level. The belt holder is completely detachable and can be fixed to anywhere within the Kydex panel for more preferred position by the carrier/user in his body. The “D” ring in the loop and "See thru" eyelets all round the sheath assists in easy and custom carriage to one's need. The sheath’s unique shape and its manufacturing technique make the knife very easy to draw in and draw out.
