Lately, khukuri shops in Nepal, mostly in Kathmandu are emerging in small scales and almost all of them imitate our products and presentations, fearfully from our name to our style to our decorations to our literature in our online sites and broachers. Though their products are similar to ours it does not come up to the standard of KHHI. Therefore, we solemnly urge our customers to be aware of this and take extra caution when buying khukuris in Nepal and pledge to uphold the reputation of genuine manufacturer of the prestigious khukuri and to save the age old excellent craftsmanship of the Kamis.

Similarly, due to the easy access to internet, numerous individuals and shops in Nepal are coming up with different online sites and ideas featuring fake khukuris with a sheer objective to earn money. Worse, they are using our photos, our research articles and literatures illegally and some even claim and pretend to be part of us and thus have misused our reputation. We therefore urge all our valued customers/visitors to be aware of such misdeeds and be extra cautious when shopping online. We request all to help us maintain our originality and authenticity because we believe that buying or selling duplicates not only badly affects the introduction of our national knife to the world but also awfully discourages skill craftsmanship to produce genuine handicrafts.

Saving and securing the originality, creativity and property of a genuine company like KHHI has always been challenging and discouraging. Moreover when it’s the issue of internet it is almost impossible. Even so KHHI has always given its best effort to stop the flow of duplication, imitation and theft so that the internet world is risk free and positive with real and good people around.

Therefore we kindly request you to fill in the form below if you found a site/company has or has utilized our photos, text or layouts illegally. KHHI would first verify your mail/claim then take necessary legal action to the party. Please be notified that your name etc will never be revealed. It is only for KHHI’s record.
