| PRESS RELEASE Dear Customers and well wishers, I, as the MD of this company and my entire staff felt the importance of sharing this complicated and unexpected situation to all our valued customers that has arisen at KHHI so that all customers are well aware of the current situation and co-operate with us in helping us tackle it. We look forward to your full co-operation and support so that we get enough time and strength to put us back together. A group of local drug addicts with criminal record involved in extortion and assaults threatened our workers (Kamis) to pay ransom or face consequences, eventually attacked KHHI’s Kamis and staff with weapons and knives at KHHI’s premises on Monday (6th May 2013). Police were called in and the gang was taken into custody and later released on bail after stern warning yet the gang is still active and continues to terrorize. Thus KHHI sighting the threat and fragile condition sent all its Kamis back to their home until the situation calms down and KHHI takes some serious measures to settle this issue. We are right now improving our security systems and structures and co-coordinating with the police and local authorities to end this hostile situation. In the meantime, unfortunately, KHHI production is hampered and paralyzed temporarily (our second and third work place are only operating).
Due to the above reason in which KHHI has been victimized we deeply regret to inform you that the orders will be delayed by another 10-15 days (on all on-going orders and 10-15 days more than our standard time frame of 25-30 days in all new orders). The time line is also to the fact that KHHI NEVER compromise on its quality and services. In a very difficult situation such as this we sincerely request all our valued customers to co-operate with us and help us stay calm and focused. We are rapidly improving our security measures and will leave no stone unturned but this will take some time which will affect our regular activities. I and my entire team therefore deeply apologize for the situation we have been dragged to and the delay that will happen to your order.
