KHHI Nepal’s never ending interest in the exploration of different types of army kukris/khukuris from the olden days until the present and its association with the Gurkhas brings to you the best collection of these famous, feared, and most respected khukuri knives under one category.
These are the official service kukris issued to the British Gurkha Army (Gurkhas), Indian Gurkha Rifles, and SPFGC (Singapore Police Force Gurkha Contingent) from recent years till date. Each new Gurkha recruit is given 2 khukuris; Duty/Parade and Training/Exercise officially by the army; a trend that started from early 2000. These officially standard Gurkha kukris are either issued as dress knife for parades/duty, as utility knife (no.2) for training/exercise, and/or even as a weapon for any battle/war/conflict to the new recruits.
By going thru each kukri of this special category one could easily know the importance, the variation (features), and the gradual development of each khukuri knife that took place in the British Army over the decades after the 1947 partition.
We are very proud to announce that on many occasions we have successfully made these service kukris for which we have shown the official certificate given by British Gurkhas Nepal (BGN).
