    Totaly handcrafted handforged/ handmade during the 90's

    Below are the photographic steps of making the khukuri in a traditional way, today modern way have eased some steps and avoided some with developed technology and methods. But we still want to let you see the old age process. This is traditional method (way) that was used in early 2000s and before. Its 100% handmade that requires great, skill, huge labor and lots of sweat. Each blade carries the individuality and characteristic of the maker and thus no kukri knives are exactly the same.

    The BLADE MAKING requires numerous steps before it is finally achieved which is captured below in the step by step shots. Khukuri Blade making process/steps includes Weighing, Measuring,Cutting, forging, Beating and Hammering, Shaping, Notch, Pattern, Tampering, Filing Blade, Joining Blade with Handle, Sharpening, Testing the Blade, Shining, Final Check Up.
