Dashain Holiday Notice >> BIGGEST Khukuri SALE EVER !!!  Celebrating the festivals together...

Nepalese main festival, Dashain, is just round the corner. It’s festival time so we all are excited. It’s the time when you put aside your daily life to a pause and enjoy with friends and family with good food, drink, dance and some great music. We would like to wish all our valued customers, well wishers, visitors a very happy “Vijaya Dashami 2024”. 

May the goddess Durga bring peace, harmony, prosperity, and most importantly bestow all mankind with love, care, compassion and respect for one another which we desperately need at this time and phase.

We would also like to announce that we will remain closed from 10th to 20th Oct 2024 for the festival and will resume all our activities from 21st Oct (Monday) only. 

During the break (holiday) all our regular, official (including emails) and production activities will come to a complete halt hence there may be some delays in getting back to you. We would like to deeply apologize for any inconvenience and delay in orders (change in time-frame) caused by this. 

Also showcased here are some of the LARGE kukris used in Dashain on the 9th day called MAAR to sacrifice animals to please goddess Durga. Large khukuri like our “MAAR” (which literally means to “KILL”) has been a part of Nepalese culture and tradition for centuries. These big bad boys were first made for battle/combat (hand to hand) in history. There will be lots of animal sacrifices all over the country for which the BIG BAD BOYS will come out well cleaned, sharpened and mirror shined. Our large MAAR khukuris will also join the lethal gang and see lots of action so demand of it has sharply risen. 

Although we are against animal killing and strongly believe it should be banned, in festival times like this we think its exception. Hope you all agree with it. However we urge all doers to do it responsibly in a single clean strike so it’s good for you, your community and even for the animal and keep the festival spirit alive.
